MONTREAL, QC — The Montreal Canadiens have recalled defenceman Victor Bartley from the IceCaps.

Acquired by the Canadiens last month – along with John Scott – in a trade involving both the Nashville Predators and Arizona Coyotes, Bartley has scored two goals and four points in 10 games with St. John’s.

The six-foot, 215-pounder was never drafted but signed as a free agent with the Nashville Predators in 2011. The 27-year-old Ottawa native has played 112 NHL games, all with the Predators.
