MONTREAL, QC. — The Montreal Canadiens announced Monday night that forward Nikita Scherbak has been reassigned to St. John’s. The team tweeted the transaction following its game vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins in Quebec City.

The IceCaps now have 29 players in camp (17 forwards, nine defencemen, three goaltenders).
