MONTREAL, QUE. – Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs general manager Marc Bergevin announced today the following injury update to Bulldogs defencemen Davis Drewiske and Jarred Tinordi:
Davis Drewiske
Underwent wrist surgery – out for the remainder of the season
Jarred Tinordi
Upper body injury – will be re-evaluated in three weeks
The Bulldogs will be back in action tonight when they’ll visit the San Antonio Rampage at AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas at 8 p.m. ET. The ‘Dogs will return home on Thursday, April 2 when they’ll host the Chicago Wolves at FirstOntario Centre at 7:30 p.m.

Palazzese has a record of 8-10-0 in 19 games with ECHL Wheeling this season

MONTREAL, QUE. – Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs general manager Marc Bergevin announced today the Bulldogs have assigned goaltender Frank Palazzese to the ECHL’s Wheeling Nailers.
Palazzese was recalled by the Bulldogs on Jan. 16 and served as backup to Mike Condon on Jan. 16 and Jan. 17. In 19 games with Wheeling this season, he has a record of 8-10-0 with a 3.56 goals-against average and .885 save percentage. Before turning pro this season, the 21-year-old played five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League. In 175 career OHL regular season games with the Sudbury Wolves, Kitchener Rangers and Kingston Frontenacs from 2009 to 2014, the 6-1, 175-pound goaltender had a record of 71-69-26 with a 3.13 goals-against average, .914 save percentage and seven shutouts. The Toronto, Ont. native signed a one-year, two-way American Hockey League / ECHL contract with the Bulldogs on Oct. 7, 2014.
The Bulldogs will be back in action on Friday, Jan. 23 when they’ll host the Toronto Marlies at FirstOntario Centre at 7:30 p.m.

MONTREAL, QUE. – Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs general manager Marc Bergevin announced today the Canadiens have recalled goaltender Joey MacDonald from the Bulldogs, while the Bulldogs have recalled goaltender Frank Palazzese from the ECHL’s Wheeling Nailers.
In 16 games with Hamilton this season, MacDonald has a record of 6-7-3 with a 2.96 goals-against average and .902 save percentage. In 133 career NHL regular season games with the Calgary Flames, Detroit Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Islanders and Boston Bruins, the Pictou, N.S. native has a record of 44-61-15 with a 3.00 goals-against average, .902 save percentage and two shutouts. In 316 career AHL regular season games with the Bulldogs, Abbotsford Heat, Grand Rapids Griffins, Toronto Marlies, Bridgeport Sound Tigers and Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, the 6-0, 197-pound goaltender has a record of 150-132-19 with a 2.64 goals-against average, .913 save percentage and 24 shutouts. The Canadiens signed MacDonald as a free agent on July 1, 2014.
